Havre, MT – After back-to-back losses on the road, the MSU-Northern Skylights battled back to finish off the 2025 volleyball regular season with a pair of wins.
On Thursday and Friday Night the Skylights defeated Montana Western the Montana tech on senior night to finish with a 15-7 conference record and secure the three seed in the Frontier Conference tournament this week in Helena.
Head coach for the Skylights, Jerry Wagner Said his team battled hard and built confidence with home victories.
“I felt very good about the entire weekend. It came off excellent and it has us a very confident team going into the frontier conference tournament.” Wagner said and continued saying his team can gain momentum and take it anywhere.
“I think if you track our progress throughout the year, we have been a team that’s been able to carry momentum regardless of where we are playing at, and here we are playing the first round against the team that’s hosting.”
As the three seed the Skylights will take on the number six seed, and host, in Carroll College. The match is the last one of the day on Thursday with first serve at 7:30p.m.
