Havre, MT – MSU-Northern Skylights basketball will be in Bismarck North Dakota for a clash with the Mystics of Bismarck State College Saturday night.
The Skylights will have to hold their own on the defensive end of the ball with the Frontier Conferences leading scorer, Kennedy Stromer, on the other side of the ball. Head Coach Chris Mouat knows just how good of a player Strommer the Skylights is how will look to slow her down.
“She’s really tough. She has the ability to downhill and core at the rim. If you foul her, she makes her free-throws and she can hit threes from deep. [We] Can’t overhelp on her, because if you do that is very good at kicking it out for threes. She hurt us last game and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
The Skylights are fifth in the Frontier Conference standings while the Mysticks sit at seventh place.
