Havre, MT – The MSU Northern Skylights defeated Lakeland University on Sunday and Monday by over 50 points both times.
The Skylights improve to 9-3 overall on the year as they shift their focus back to conference play this weekend in North Dakota. The Skylights are tied for third place in the Frontier conference standings at 5-2 and are receiving votes in NAIA top25 poll.
The skylights only losses have been to the number four team in the country Dakota State University. With 15 games remain in conference play the Skylights are second in overall offence and sixth in the Frontier in overall defense.
The Skylights will play at Valley City State on Friday and at Mayville State on Saturday.
