The MSU-Northern Skylights fell their second game of the Phoenix Frontier Challenge, as Menlo College picked up the 87-58 win on Thursday.
Menlo started strong, with a 27-11 lead after one. They kept the pressure on the Skylights to head into the mid break, ahead 44-20. Northern showed some life in the 2nd half, but still trailed 71-42 at the end of three. The margin of difference would hold in place, as both teams scored 16 points in the final quarter.
In the Skylight effort, Savannah Toms scored 11 points in the game, while Ryley Kehr (care) added 10.
With one more day in the challenge, the Skylights look to bounce back as they take on William Jessup University on Friday, with tip off scheduled for 10am..
