Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern Skylights volleyball hosted the fifth ranked team in the country the Providence Argos. Lights took set number two ultimately dropped the match four sets to one.
Skylights volleyball battled but dropped set number one 25-18. Northern persevered and took set number two 28-26, but sets three and four were claimed by Providence, 27-25, and 25-18.
As a team, the Skylights had 60 kills, 59 assists and 97 digs.
Josie Hasler and Lexi Jones both reached double digit kills on the night, Hasler with 15 to lead the team and Jones with 12. Emily Bird had the teams only Ace. Kadence Wiggins and Lexi Jones secured three blocks each.
Macee Selman led Northern in assists with 28 and Emily bird finished with 18 assists of her own. Baily Egan led the team in Digs with 30.
Skylights continue their home this weekend starting with Valley City State on Friday at 7p.m. and on Saturday at 5p.m. against Mayville State.
