The Skylights volleyball team is set to open their season on the road this week against Valley City State University. The team had their Alumni Match back on August 6th and since then, they have seen quite the increase in training, according to Coach Wagner.
“We embarked on two-a-day practices throughout last week, it was a tough week. We worked through a lot of systematic things,” says Wagner.
Ahead of Thursday’s match against Valley City, Coach Wagner also shared what his squad is focusing on.
“Well, our number one focus is that we want to work towards being a little more up tempo than we have in the past in our offense. The only thing that makes that happen is our ball control and serve reception. We want to be serving tough at this point,” says Wagner.
