(Helena) – Montana Fish Wildlife, and Parks would like to let hunter know that if they are interested they can sign up for elk permits left over from the permit drawing between July 21st and August 4th.
This process for the sale of surplus licenses began in 2020 in response to issues in the past.
FWP will contact hunter who are at the top of the list via email with instructions to finalize their purchase within a specified time.
