HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The suspect in the December 19 high-speed vehicle pursuit that ended in Beaver Creek Park made his initial court appearance on Monday morning.
34-year-old Havre resident Terry Lee Wells, Jr., the alleged driver in the pursuit that ended shortly after he struck a deer, appeared by video from the Hill County Detention Center for his arraignment. He pleaded not guilty to three counts of felony criminal endangerment, as well as misdemeanor fleeing from or eluding a peace officer.
His bail for this case was tentatively lowered from $25,000 to $10,000, with the caveat that he follow probation orders for a separate case in Cascade County. No future court dates have been set.
