(Big Timber) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that one person was killed and one injured in a single vehicle accident near Big Timber on October 28th.
The Ford Expedition was northbound on Lower Deer Creek Road. While attempting to negotiate a left curve, the Expedition over corrected and crossed the center of the road causing the vehicle to exit the left side of the roadway. The Expedition then hit a small boulder causing it to roll three times before coming to rest on its roof.
It is believed that the male driver and female passenger were both ejected, and then flown to St. Vincent’s hospital in Billings where the female succumbed to her injuries. Alcohol is cited as a factor in the crash.
