(Havre) – Thursday April 9th the Havre Public Schools Friends of Music present the annual Taste of Jazz night. Havre High School music department chairwoman and choir teacher Danielle Stoll (Stole) tells us about the history of Taste of Jazz.
“Taste of Jazz originated a long time ago at Havre High School. I don’t know the exact starting date, but I do know that I have found posters for Taste of Jazz dating back in the 80’s. So, it’s gone on pretty much the whole time, it’s always pretty much been a dessert concert and been there to raise funds for scholarships for music students.”
This year Taste of Jazz is being held in the 4-H Chuckwagon, located at the Great Northern Fairgrounds in Havre. Tables may be purchased from Independence Bank with individual tickets also available
