HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Great Northern Fair Board met online for their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, April 21.
During the meeting, the board presented various reports, reviewed old business and made decisions on new business items.
One of the new business items in question, was whether or not to cancel the upcoming fair because of COVID-19.
The board concluded that the cancellation of the fair is still a big possibility. However, they are going to wait and reevaluate this cancellation at their next meeting or until Governor Bullock provides an updated plan for COVID-19.
The board then began to elect officers. Bobbie Dolphay was unanimously selected to be the Great Northern Fair Board’s Chair and Chelby Gooch was unanimously selected to retain the Great Northern Fair Board’s Vice Chair position.
The next board meeting is scheduled for May 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the Hill County Court House.
