The Milk River Gobblers are hosting a fun banquet this Saturday.
The Spokesperson for the Milk River Gobblers, Jeff Dibblee explains the banquet.
“The banquet will be held February 4th at the Eagles Club. Cocktail hour will start at 5pm, get there early, play some games. The dinner will begin at 6:30 and that dinner is going to be prime rib which will be prepared by the Milk River Gobblers themselves, shrimp and all the trimmings that go with it will be provided by the Havre Eagles Club. We’re going to have silent auctions. We’re going to have live auctions, and last count there were 14 firearms to be raffled or given away, and a tremendous amount of other door prizes and other prizes that we’re going to play games for, and it is open for all people.”-Jeff Dibblee
Jeff continues to explain who the Milk River Gobblers are and the purpose of the banquet.
“Mainly the goal is to get the word out on who we are, the Milk River Gobblers, what we do, we enhance hunting in general, for turkeys, upland birds, other wildlife species. The money that we obtain here at the banquet and some of the raffles all stays local, and also the proceeds from this banquet will go to some of the scholarships that we give out.” -Jeff Diblee
