HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 590 new COVID-19 cases and 2 new deaths across the state in their Tuesday morning update.
Both deaths are from Cascade County. One occurred in January and one in February.
Two counties reported at least 100 new COVID-19 cases, led by Cascade with 223 and Flathead with 166.
The active hospitalization count remained rose slightly from 108 to 115, while the active case count dipped from 1,536 to 1,390.
The percentage of eligible Montanans considered fully immunized remains at 54 percent, with over 1.4 million vaccine doses administered.
