Two Charged with Homicide after Body Found in Rimini

RIMINI, Mont. (NMB) – The Independent Record reports that two men from Helena are facing homicide charges after Michael Anthony Biggs, 39, was found dead on Friday in Rimini.

36-year-old Brandon Michael Beckman and 32-year-old Robert John Harvel are accused of felony homicide and felony tampering with or fabricating evidence.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff/Coroner Leo Dutton says the killing was not random and the cause of death appears to be a gunshot wound, but an autopsy has yet to be conducted on the body, which was frozen and found by witnesses less than five miles from Helena.

According to witnesses, the suspects got stuck in the snow when trying to drive away from the scene.
