FORT BENTON, Mont. (NMB) – Two people were injured Friday morning in a two vehicle crash in Fort Benton.
Montana Highway Patrol received a call shortly after 10 am about a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 87 and Montana Highway 80.
According to Trooper Chris Baker, a Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on Highway 87 when a Ford F-150 headed westbound on Montana Highway 80 pulled in front of the Explorer.
The 60-year old female driver and 67-year old male passenger of the Explorer were transported to a Fort Benton hospital, and were expected to be transported further to Benefis Hospital in Great Falls. There was no word on their condition.
The driver of the Ford F-150 was uninjured.
The scene of the crash has since been cleared.
