LAKE COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that two people were killed in a head-on crash in Lake County on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at 5:26 AM at mile marker 15 of US 93 near Arlee, when a northbound Chrysler 300 being driven by a 23-year-old man from Ronan entered the southbound lane and struck a Toyota Camry being driven by a 22-year-old man from Omak, Washington head-on.
Both occupants were declared deceased on scene. They had been wearing seatbelts.
The road was dry and alcohol, drugs, or excessive speed are not suspected factors.
