USDA FSA Reminds Producers to Report Losses

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – With the recent extreme cold on the Hi-Line, the United States Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency would like to remind Montana agricultural producers about the importance of record keeping and reporting losses.

Losses must be reported within 30 calendar days of when the loss is apparent.

A notice of loss can be filed with FSA via email, phone, fax, or a scheduled office visit.

For more information on the USDA Disaster programs, contact your local FSA office. For Hill County, the phone number is 654-1334.
