(Washington) – The USDA Rural Development announced on August 29th that they would be making funding more available for meat and poultry processors to expand operations,transform the food supply chain, and create new and better markets for producers.
to do this the USDA will be partnering wiht New Hampshire Community Loan Fund to make $123 million in grants available through the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program. eligible project will receive grants from $250,000 up to $10 million with successful applicants needing to be able to cover $70 percent of their total cost.
