VA survey extended to July 15th.

(Helena) The deadline for a survey to evaluate the long-term care needs of Montana’s veterans has been extended to July 15.

The Veterans’ Long-Term Care Needs Survey is focused on analyzing the need for community and in-home support systems for veterans and how those needs change over time. It will also review the condition of veteran cemeteries across the state.

The Department of Public Health and Human Services says nearly 3,000 surveys have been returned but hope to collect more to make the data “as robust as possible,” according to a release from DPHHS. The survey was approved through House Bill 264 in April 2023.
