Vernon Neil Ophus, 95, passed away due to natural causes on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Avista Senior Living in Ellensburg, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Big Sandy United Methodist Church with the Reverend Carl Ellis officiating.
