Veterans Affairs Holding Outreach Throughout December

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Throughout the first three weeks of December, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs Division will be visiting numerous locations in north-central Montana to meet with Veterans interested in applying for benefits.

Those interested in applying are asked to bring a copy of their discharge paperwork, the DD 214’s, with them. Face-masks are also required.

Below is the December schedule:

  • Wednesday, December 2nd: Shelby Courthouse from 9:30-11:30 AM, Glacier County Courthouse Annex Room 19 (Cut Bank) from 1:30-4 PM
  • Thursday, December 3rd: Glacier County Courthouse Annex Room 19 (Cut Bank) from 8:30-11:30 AM
  • Wednesday, December 9th: Glasgow VA Clinic from 1-4 PM
  • Thursday, December 10th: Malta City Hall from 9:30-11:30 AM
  • Wednesday, December 16th: Shelby Courthouse from 9:30-11:30 AM, Glacier County Courthouse Annex Room 19 (Cut Bank) from 1:30-4 PM
  • Thursday, December 17th: Glacier County Courthouse Annex Room 19 (Cut Bank) from 8:30-11:30 AM

Due to COVID-19 and travel restrictions, they are unable to see veterans at this time at Rocky Boy, Fort Belknap, and Browning. Veteran Service Officers can also meet with Big Sandy and Hays Veterans, as well as Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Centers, by appointment. To schedule an appointment at the Havre office, call 265-4225.

Browning Veterans are permitted to attend the Cut Bank outreach events due to COVID-19.
