(Chinook) – The Chinook Police Department is hosting active shooter simulations this weekend. Today training move to Chinook High School. Chinook Police Chief Elmer Zarn told New Media Broadcasters what people should expect and be aware of during this simulation.
“What the public is going to see is a whole bunch of patrols cars parked at the school. They may hear what sounds like gun shots coming from the school, yelling and screaming and noise. Just like a real situation, but it’s all for training.”
The active shooter simulation continues through Saturday at Chinook High School.
