(NMB) The Meagher County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a gunshot at 1:56pm on Sunday at 202 West Main Street in White Sulpher Springs. When Sheriff deputies and Meagher County Ambulance arrived on scene, they found one individual with a gunshot wound and that individual was pronounced dead on scene.
Witnesses identified and individual who was at the property of the time of the shooting. Meagher County Sheriff’s Office, MHP and Montana Fish and Game apprehended the individual.
No other suspects were involved in the case and there was no further risk to the public according the the Meagher County Sheriff’s Office.
Montana Division of Criminal Investigation. Montana Crime Lab, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and the MHP are assisting the Meagher County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
