(Great Falls) – A Wolf Point woman will spend more than 11 years in federal prison for her role in the brutal beating death of a man last year on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation.Twenty-six-year-old Abrianne Lillian Deserly was sentenced earlier this week in Great Falls after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
Federal prosecutors say Deserly and two co-defendants entered an abandoned Wolf Point home in February 2025 after a night of drinking. An argument escalated into a severe assault on a sleeping man, with witnesses reporting that Deserly kicked the victim in the face while others used a chokehold. A medical exam determined the victim died of neck compression and blunt force head injuries.
Deserly’s co-defendant, Calvin Lester, received an 11-year sentence earlier this month. The third attacker, Dillon Wetsit, awaits sentencing in October.
