(Mamoth Hot Springs Wyoming) – Yellowstone National Park saw a slight dip in tourism last month. New figures show the park hosted just over 856,000 recreation visits in August, down three percent from last year. This also marks a seven percent drop from August 2021, the park’s busiest August on record. So far this year, overall visitation is down two percent compared to 2025, with nearly three and a half million total visits recorded through August.
