RICHLAND COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 20-year-old Glendive man was killed in a head-on collision with a semi-truck in Richland County early Sunday morning.
At around 5 AM, the man was driving a Dodge pickup northbound on Montana Highway 16 near Sidney when he crossed over the southbound lane and struck a Freightliner that was pulling a trailer head-on.
The driver died on impact. The occupants of the semi, a 22 and 23-year-old man from Winnipeg, Manitoba, were not injured.
The road was dry at the time.
