2 Men Arrested in Connection to John Deere Burglary

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Tuesday evening, the Hill County Sheriff’s Office recovered the two John Deere Gator utility vehicles that were stolen during an early morning burglary of the John Deere implement dealer in Havre. There was damage to both vehicles.

Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross says that further investigation by the Hill County Sheriff’s Office led to the execution of search warrants on a residence and on vehicles located in the Havre area. The search warrants resulted in the recovery of stolen property from the John Deere burglary along with the recovery of stolen property from other thefts in the area.

The evidence obtained an property recovered through the investigation led to the arrests of two 19 year old men, Fabian Saddler Jr. and Darrell Gardipee III, who are both charged with felony burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, and are detained in the Hill County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

The Hill County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind the public to secure homes, vehicles, and personal property to prevent thefts and to report suspicious activity.
