2024 Fresno Walleye Challenge Final Results

The final day of the Fresno Challenge at the reservoir was held all day on Saturday. After placing second overall on the first day of the tournament, Ty Hinderager from Fort Shaw and Matt Fischer from Helena ended up winning the championship, totalling 23.06 pounds of walleye in the two-day period. Lance Kresge and Dan Peterson, who were not near the leaderboard in day one, ended up finishing second at 22.80 pounds of walleye. Brad Novak from Helena and Hayden Gandy, who led the tournament after the first day on the water, placed third at 22.42 pounds of walleye.

51 teams ended up competing at the 2024 Fresno Challenge and the total for the newly formatted catch-and-release objective ended up netting participants almost 500 pounds combined of walleye before sending them back into the reservoir.
