Governor Gianforte recently opened submissions for the 2026 Governor’s Veteran Commendation, allowing anyone to nominate someone who has done exceptional work for their country and community. He recently sat down with New Media Broadcasters to dive into the requirements:
“We’ve been able to honor 230 veterans across the state. Every year individuals are nominated by the veteran’s community and here’s the criteria. If you know a veteran that has served our country in uniform well and then come home and continued to serve their community, that’s the criteria.”
