CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – Blaine County reported a record 19 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, surpassing the previous record of 16 reached twice last week.
In addition, three cases announced previously required hospitalization, bringing current hospitalizations to four.
Blaine County has now reported 100 COVID-19 cases. 67 are active, including four hospitalizations.
The Fort Belknap Reservation remains under a 14-day shutdown which began this past Friday morning. There is also a ban on alcohol sales on the Reservation during the duration of the shutdown, and stores are required to close at 7 PM. A daily curfew from 9 PM-6 AM is in effect.
Drive-thru COVID-19 testing will be available at the Fort Belknap Indian Health Service from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, but will be limited to those with COVID-related symptoms and direct contacts of positive cases.

Fort Belknap Tribal Health reported 12 new cases on Tuesday. They have reported 66 total cases, 54 of which are active.
Blaine County’s numbers include all cases on Fort Belknap within the Blaine County boundaries.
