CHINOOK (NMB) The 3rd Annual Brewfest is happening on Saturday, October 1st at Sweet Memorial Park in Chinook. Along with the usual fare the public can expect a silent auction, a Barbeque from the Blaine County Wildlife Museum as well as live music by the Stone Broke String Band.
Heather Dupriest, Chairperson of the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation says there will be microbrews with a little something for non-alcoholic drinkers.
“We’re going to be doing a lot of craft beers, of course. But we are also bringing in ciders and wine and some non-alcoholic root beer and crème soda to the event.”
There is going to be free kid’s drawings to make this a family-friendly event.
Dupreist says the public can donate items to the silent auction by calling Tammy at 406-399-1428.
“In the past we’ve had everything from blankets people have quilted all the way up to a little ride-on toy. Last year, we also had a firepit. This year an individual in Chinook donated a very large collection of Legos.”
The Brewfest runs from 4PM to 8PM and coincides with the Sugarbeet Festival .
