The Havre Blue Pony softball team wrapped up Conference play against the Fergus Golden Eagles on Wednesday.
It was all the home team, jumping out to an early five run lead after the first inning. Lewistown plated two more runs in the second, and 7 runs in the third. That would be the extent of scoring, leaving the Lady Ponies shut out 14-0 and ending the game in the fifth inning.
Havre only managed three hits in the contest. Rachel Jette started in the circle, Olivia Keller took over to close out the Blue Pony effort.
Tournament play lies ahead for the Blue Ponies, as they travel to Butte for the LaVerne Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Games are scheduled against Columbia Falls, Dillon, Ronan, and Florence-Carlton.
Havre Finished 7 and 1 in conference play.
