ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – The Chippewa Cree Tribe recently announced that the Rocky Boy Reservation is experiencing source water problems and they have a very low supply of water.
In a Facebook post, the Tribe asks its residents use water conservatively and for essential use only. They ask that people do not wash their vehicles, fill pools, play with sprinklers, or water their lawns during this period.
Water issues on the Reservation can be reported to the Water Resource Department at 395-4225. A call to the Chippewa Cree Tribal Chair Harlan Baker was not immediately returned Friday morning.
