HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Bear Paw Development Corporation was recently recertified by the State of Montana as a regional Food and Agriculture Development Center, focused on assisting agricultural producers and entrepreneurs who add value to the commodities raised in northern Montana and elsewhere. A press release says that Bear Paw Development has been part of the FADC Network since its inception and has assisted numerous value-added agriculture projects receive funding and become successful.
The FADC program is administered by the Montana Department of Agriculture and received funding through the 2019 Legislature, with eight centers around Montana. Through funding included in House Bill 52, the number of FADC’s doubled.
