GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – To help address the current emergency blood shortage, all who come to give blood or platelets with the American Red Cross through August 29th will receive a $5 Amazon.com gift card via email. A press release says that the Red Cross has less than a three-day supply of most blood types available and less than a two-day supply of type O blood.
On Monday, August 5th, blood donations will be taken in Lewistown from noon to 6 PM at the First Christian Church of Lewistown. On Wednesday the 7th, they will be at the Central Montana Medical Center in Lewistown from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.
On Tuesday, August 6th, blood can be donated at the Winifred Community Center from 2 to 6 PM.
On Thursday, August 8th, donations will be at the Civic Center in Shelby from noon to 6 PM.
On Tuesday, August 13th, blood donations will be held at the Methodist Church in Sunburst from 12:30 to 5:30 PM.
On Wednesday, donations will be at the Montana Agricultural Center in Fort Benton from 1 to 6 PM.
And on Thursday, blood can be donated at the Conrad Mission Church from 11 AM to 5:30 PM.
