GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center announced the 12th class of inductions into the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame. A press release says that the inductees are honored for their notable contributions to the history and culture of Montana.
There are twelve districts around the state and one Living Inductee and one Legacy Inductee was chosen from each district. District 4 includes Hill, Blaine Liberty and Chouteau Counties. The Living Award was given to Arthur Wade Bickford, and the Legacy award was given to Charles Leon Floyd. Both are from Havre. In District 5, which includes Cascade, Glacier, Pondera, Teton and Toole Counties, Wylie Galt Gustafson from Conrad received the Living Award and Belknap “Ballie” Buck from Choteau received the Legacy Award.
These inductees will be honored during the annual Circle the Wagons gathering this February in Great Falls.
