HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Last week, an 18 year-old Havre man pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
Court documents say that last month, Jaden Peet allegedly convinced a 13 year-old girl to sneak out of her house to see him and he took her to a house in Gildford.
That night, Peet allegedly began kissing the girl and started touching her. She repeatedly told him to stop, but he pinned her down while he had sex with her. A few hours later, Peet woke and had sex with her again.
While talking with Sheriff’s Deputies, Peet admitted to having sex with the girl, but disputed that she was unwilling. He said he was also aware that the girl was 13.
The arraignment was held before Special Master Erik Rathie, as Judge Dan Boucher has resigned.
