ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – A pedestrian was killed late Thursday night after being hit by a vehicle on Laredo Road.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle was southbound on Laredo Road near Buttercup Road at about 11:30 PM when the pedestrian was running out in the road. The vehicle impacted the pedestrian directly, throwing her off the right side of the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle continued driving and has yet to be located. The roads were bare and dry at the time of the accident.
The Hill County Sheriff’s Office says they won’t release the victims name until the family has been notified.
