GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – All Great Falls Public Schools were closed Monday due to a police investigation into a bomb threat.
The Great Falls Police Department announced the closures in a Facebook post, saying that a staff member at an elementary school found a handwritten note Monday morning that featured threats targeting multiple schools.
Other schools in Great Falls that were closed Monday included the University of Providence, Five Falls Christian, Our Lady of Lourdes and Central Catholic.
The Great Falls Police Department said in a Monday afternoon press conference, saying no suspicious devices were found.
Great Falls Public Schools will reopen on Tuesday.
The AP reports that surveillance video has given officers a vague description of the suspect, but officials did not release that information citing the ongoing investigation.
