HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A man charged in Hill County in February 2018 with five felonies related to accusations of molesting his 12-year-old stepdaughter has reached a plea agreement in District Court.
Isaac Dale Wardell pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault on Monday. The plea agreement calls for the felony charges of incest, sexual intercourse without consent, sexual abuse of children and indecent exposure to be dismissed.
An affidavit filed in court in February 2018 alleges Wardell molested a 12-year-old girl on multiple occasions between August and December 2017.
Sentencing is set for 10:30 AM on March 24.
Wardell remains in the Hill County Detention Center pending sentencing on $50,000 bond. He has been in the Detention Center since June 2018, 13 months longer than any other inmate.
