U.S. SENATE (NMB) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester on Thursday announced he is nominating 21 Montanans to U.S. military service academies. A press release says that Tester nominated these students based on their academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities, and a demonstrated commitment to serving and leading in the United States military.
Berit Bedord from Power was nominated to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy. Devan Fishell from Scobey was nominated to the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy. Three people were nominated from Helena. Travis Peterson was nominated for the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy, and the Merchant Marine Academy. Kamrin Rosling was nominated to the U.S. Military Academy and Cameron Holston was nominated to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
