Governor’s Office of Community Service Awards Scholarships to 98 Montana High School Students

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Governor’s Office of Community Service, Serve Montana, announced 98 high school awardees of the Youth Serve Montana Scholarship Wednesday, April 15.

Graduates awarded on the Hi-Line include the following:

  • Shelby High School: Brielle Aklestad, Kendall Anderson, Rachel Hould, Bailey Johnson, Kelsyn Lohr, Brogan Mcallister, Alexis Mccracken, Raven Olsen and Michael Sanchez.
  • Winifred High School: Dyauni Boyce.
  • Choteau High School: Nicole Krone.
  • Cut Bank High School: Coalter Littrell.
  • Belt High School: William Franzen.
  • Fergus High School: Macy Mangold.
  • Chester-Joplin Inverness Public School: Samantha May.
  • Glasgow High School: Lauren Padden and Timothy Wageman.
  • Hinsdale High School: Elise Strommen, Cordell Younkin and Halle Beil.

The $1,000 scholarship recognizes and promotes volunteer service in Montana high schools and all funding is allocated through Montana Campus Compact, Reach Higher Montana and Serve Montana.
