Mask Directive Back in Effect in Chouteau County after Four Cases Reported Tuesday

CHOUTEAU COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Governor’s mask directive is back in effect in Chouteau County after their Public Health Department reported four new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the active case count to five.

All close contacts of the cases have been notified and quarantined.

The cases appear to have come from tests performed at the Rocky Boy Health Center, as they reported four new cases on Tuesday, while Hill County did not report any new cases.

Positive COVID-19 cases discovered at Rocky Boy Health Center are included in the case count of the county the person resides (either Hill or Chouteau).

The mask directive is currently in effect in the following counties in our area: Hill (33 active cases), Liberty (4), Toole (6), Fergus (15), Valley (10), Glacier (23) and Cascade (182).
