Hill County Reports 21 New COVID-19 Cases, Record Number of Hospitalizations

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County reported 21 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday and had one previously announced case require hospitalization.

15 of the new cases were found through contact tracing, while six have unknown exposures.

The age ranges with the most new cases were people under the age of 10 (2 males, 3 females), and people in their 20’s (2 males, 3 females).

Current hospitalizations of Hill County residents is now at 13, the most since the pandemic began.

No new deaths were reported, ending the streak of three straight days with at least one COVID-19 related death.

Also on Thursday, 26 people met the criteria to be considered recovered.

Overall, Hill County has now reported 670 COVID-19 cases. 264 are active, 388 have recovered and 18 have died.
