HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre woman denied a statutory rape charge last week based off allegations that she had been engaging in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.
Tashina Partin, 26, pleaded not guilty to the felony of sexual intercourse without consent at her arraignment before Judge Kaydee Snipes-Ruiz in Hill County District Court.
An affidavit filed last month alleges that Partin engaged in sexual relations with the boy between January and May 2020.
Partin’s former husband told a Havre Police Officer in July that she admitted to engaging in sexual intercourse with the boy.
No further court dates have been set, and Partin was ordered to be booked and released from the Hill County Detention Center by 5 PM on October 30th.
Partin is permitted to travel within Montana but is subject to GPS monitoring. The curfew condition was modified to allow for work or travel to and from work.
