HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre man has pleaded not guilty to charges based on accusations that he raped a member of a group home.
Curtis George Healy, 19, was arraigned last week in Hill County District Court on the felony of sexual intercourse without consent and the misdemeanor of sexual assault.
Court documents allege that in mid-November 2020, Healy engaged in nonconsensual anal and oral intercourse with a 20-year old male resident of a group home in Havre.
The victim, who corraborated the accusations in interviews with authorities, has since moved to another home.
Authorities were granted permission to search Healy’s phone and found a sexually explicit video where Healy could be identified by the hoodie he was wearing. When asked if he had engaged in sexual activity with the victim, Healy allegedly asked the Deputy, “What is a misdemeanor?” At that time, he was placed under arrest.
Healy is being held in the Hill County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. Healy has been in the Detention Center since February 7th, but has a bail hearing scheduled for 2 PM this afternoon.
