Easter Food Baskets Available Through Salvation Army and Havre Food Bank

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Salvation Army and Havre Community Food Bank are once again teaming up to give out Easter food baskets to those in need.

Emergency Services Director for the Havre Service Center, Trina Crawford, says the baskets provide a full easter meal.

“It’s a meat with potatoes, so it’s basically a whole meal for a nice Easter dinner. Kind of a traditional Easter dinner. And we’ve been doing this with the food bank for many, many years.”

To sign up, call 265-6411 or stop in at 328 3rd Street in Havre.

Documentation needed includes proof of income, social security cards for every family member, proof of residence, and a picture ID for the person filling out the application.

Any appointment made after March 18th will be put on a waiting list.
