Havre Lions Club Holding Another Drive-Thru Pronto Pup Event

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Following the success of last fall’s drive-thru pronto pup event, the Havre Lions Club will be hosting an encore drive-thru this Saturday at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.

Club Vice President Jerry Kuhn says that all funds raised will go directly back into the community.

“We’ve recently built a shed for the Senior Citizens’ Center, and also we have poured some concrete for the Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen as our most recent project. You’ll expect to see us out in December for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive. We have a pretty successful weekend one weekend in December where we match all the funds that go into the kettle.”

The drive-thru will be open from 11 AM-7 PM and is one of four events scheduled for Saturday at the Fairgrounds. The other events are an adult pinewood derby, the ongoing 60th Anniversary Western Trailer RV sale, and the KNMC Tribute Concert.

“All those events are going to cause us to have a little bit of different route (than last time) that everybody will be driving through,” Kuhn says. “And to keep everyone safe we’ll have that posted and easily followed.”

The start of the line will be near the regular parking area of the fairgrounds and will loop around the building.

Only pronto pups and water will be available. The Lions booth during the Fair this July will have their full menu.
