ROUNDUP, Mont. (NMB) – A suspect is in custody after a fire last week caused an estimated $100,000 in damage to a gun store in Roundup.
KULR-TV reports that arson is the suspected cause of the fire last Thursday night at MBK Unlimited.
The name of the suspect has not been released, but the Roundup Volunteer Fire Chief says they are suspected in other crimes and were believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine. He adds that the suspect has confessed and says the fire was sparked by a cigarette lighter.
The owners of the store did not have fire insurance and are attempting to salvage what is left.
