BROWNING, Mont. (NMB) – Blackfeet Law Enforcement held a press conference on Tuesday to provide an update in the case of 26-year-old Leo Wagner.
A contingency search plan is in place to search St. Mary Lake for the recovery of Wagner, who went missing from the Blackfeet Reservation on April 27th after last being seen near the St. Mary/Babb area and has not been seen since.
On May 2nd, officers found that a cabin on Big Nose Bay had been burglarized. According to law enforcement, an injury and destruction of property occurred at the cabin. Items in the immediate area, including clothing, were identified by family members as belonging to Wagner.
On May 9th, after 10 days of searching, the search was scaled back after an extensive search that included multiple agencies and the use of drones, helicopters and diving teams.
